Cyber Monday Deals on Laptops Offered by Best Buy, HP, and Dell

Lenovo and Apple Also Offering Holiday Discounts on Computers

Some 120 million Americans are expected to hit the websites of the biggest online stores on Cyber Monday 2011, according to reports. Cyber Monday sales are expected to bring a record $1.2 billion, a 12.4 percent jump from last year.

With a multitude of websites, from big retailers like Walmart, Best Buy and Amazon, to big technology companies, like Apple and Dell, it is good to know in advance what is on tap in personal electronics, in order to log on in time.

Below are some of the most attractive offers for shoppers in the market for computers.

Hewlett-Packard offers tempting deals on its laptops, slashing an average of $200 off dozens of devices. The HP Pavilion dm1z series will cost $379.99 (a saving of roughly $180) while the HP Pavilion g6x series will sell for $429.99 (a saving of some $240).

Dell will offer a 14-inch Vostro 1440 for $399 and 15.6-inch Mobile Broadband Vostro 3550 for $569 among others, in its post-Black Friday online sale. One can also snatch a stationary unit, like the Vostro 260 Slim Tower for $449.

Apple has a pre-Christmas holiday special online as well, which includes free shipping for the $499 iPad 2, as the personal electronics mogul tries to keep up with retailers like Walmart and Target offering its bestselling product, and arguably the most popular tablet on the market.

Lenovo offers online coupons that will slash prices for its laptops by nearly half. For example, 15.6-inch ThinkPad T520, which normally costs $1,475.00, and $849 on sale, will be available with a coupon for $721.65.

Best Buy, which was also offering attractive prices over the weekend as well as on Friday, is listing laptops like the 14-inch Asus -- with an Intel Core Processor and a 750GB hard drive for $699.99 (a saving of $150).

Customers might also want to take a look at websites that list multiple coupons available for the holiday sales, where they are classified by product, like CyberMonday.com.
