'Dancing With the Stars' News: Will Ben Higgins and Kaitlyn Bristowe Be Competing Next Season?

The return of "Dancing With the Stars" (DWTS) is expected bring exciting new celebrities to the dance floor.

It was previously announced that the series will return to the small screens in a couple of months. It will feature a two-hour episode that will feature the new contestants of the series.

Even though the previous season saw the exit of one of the most popular judges, Len Goodman, it was confirmed that he will be returning to judge the show. Goodman confirmed the news himself on his official Twitter account.

He stated, "Back on DWTS season 22. So nice people are welcoming me back. Be careful what you wish for."

However, there has not been any news regarding who will be competing on the series. However, there are several speculations that this year's "Bachelor" star Ben Higgins will be taking part in the competition.

According to E! Online, Higgins recently commented on the idea of him joining the series. He said, "I think I'm excited about what experiences are next in life. Just like I never expected to be on The Bachelorette, I never expected to be the Bachelor, I don't know what to expect next and I'm open to anything. I have a great life. I love my life here in Denver. I don't want to chance my life, but if there's opportunity to enhance it, I'm all for it!"

There are also rumors that last year's "Bachelorette" star Kaitlyn Bristowe could also be joining the show. However, E! Online addressed the matter. Their report stated, "The timing isn't right, but she loves the show and hopes to keep the door open for another season down the road."

While there has yet to be any news on the cast of the upcoming season, it was reported that "Dancing With the Stars" season 22 is expected to air this Mar. 21.
