'Dancing With the Stars' Season 25 News: Vanessa Lachey, Maksim Chmerkovskiy End Feud
Vanessa Lachey and her "Dancing With the Stars" partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy have already moved on from their short-lived conflict.
Chmerkovskiy missed his episode this week due to "personal issues," but many believe it was because of his fight with partner Lachey. As previously reported, the feud between the two started because their strong personalities would often clash during rehearsals.
Speaking with Us Weekly, a source revealed that Chmerkovskiy and Lachey have settled their difference. The duo will be on stage together once again for a special performance.
"They are definitely appearing on Monday's show. They have already rehearsed this week," the insider shared. "Things are good. It's water under the bridge. Things are returning to normal."
In a series of tweets, the father of one apologized to Lachey for his absence, which left his partner to perform with pro Alan Bersten. He also assured fans that he will be back next Monday.
"As you are all aware, I had to leave the show last week to take care of some personal issues. I take full responsibility for my absence and want to apologize to my partner Vanessa," Chmerkovskiy posted on Monday, adding, "We are both looking forward to dancing for our fans next week!"
As Daily Mail points out, Lachey was also not happy with her husband Nick's close dance moves with his partner Peta Murgatroyd, who is Chmerkovskiy's wife. An on-set insider revealed that things have reached a point where Lachey's jealousy is beginning to affect those who are working on the show. Due to her attitude, many people allegedly want her to be out of the contest soon.
The 25th season of "Dancing With the Stars" airs every Monday night at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
