David Foster and Yolanda Hadid Are Officially Divorced
It's official: Yolanda Hadid and David Foster's marriage has officially ended.
A report published by E! News has confirmed that Yolanda Hadid and David Foster are officially divorced. This comes after the publication has secured legal documents that prove that former reality TV star and the music mogul's divorce had been finalized on Oct. 16.
Furthermore, the former couple had also reached an agreement regarding the division of their property. Not only that, Hadid and Foster have also agreed on spousal support and as well as the attorney's fees which the former had earlier requested.
Hadid and Foster had been together for nine years and married for four before announcing their split. In a statement to People, the couple officially announced on Dec. 1, 2015 that they would be divorcing.
"Sadly we have decided to go our separate ways," they said in a statement at the time. "We've shared nine beautiful and joyous years together. During that time we experienced love, friendship and the inevitable challenges that come with managing a marriage, careers, blended families and health issues," the couple said.
After their split, the former model went to live in New York in order to be closer to her model children, Bella, Gigi and Anwar, which she shares with real estate mogul Mohamed Hadid. As for why Hadid and Foster had decided to end their marriage, the former's illness had played quite a big role.
Hadid had been diagnosed with Lyme diseases back in 2012, and her chronic illness had greatly affected her relationship with renowned music producer. "All of a sudden all of the things we shared, all of the things we used to love to do together — go for walks in the morning, having a studio in the house and blasting music all day, having dinner parties — that all shut down," Hadid said in an interview.
As for David Foster, it has been reported that he is currently seeing singer Katherine McPhee.
