'Dead 7' News: Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, O-Town, and 98 Degrees in a Western Horror
The notorious network Syfy is adding another film to their roster of absurd films.
Ever since the announcement of the western horror film called "Dead 7," fans have been waiting to know more about what to expect. SyFy has been known to produce unusual movies such as "Sharknado," "Rock Monster," and "Ice Spiders." Because of that, there is a high expectation that the upcoming "Dead 7" will follow the same style.
It was revealed that popular 90s boy bands will be taking the limelight for the film and fans can expect to see the "Backstreet Boys," "NSYNC," "98 Degrees," and "O-Town," in the upcoming movie going up against a large group of zombies.
The trailer for the movie was recently released, which featured several members of the boy bands. Artists such as Nick Carter, A.J. McLean, and Howie Dorough will be present in the film to represent the beloved "Backstreet Boys."
While, Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick from "NSYNC" be seen in the movie, Justin Timberlake will not be making an appearance in "Dead 7." As for "O-Town," fans will get a chance to reunite with Erik-Michael Estrada, Jacob Underwood, Trevor Penick, and Dan Miller. Jeff Timmons will be the lone man from "98 Degrees" to take on a role for the upcoming movie.
Fatone recently shared a photo that showed him in a recording studio with his former bandmate Kirkpatrick, which had fans wondering if the two were hinting a possible NSYNC reunion in the near future. However, Fatone addressed the rumors during an interview with TooFab. He explained that they were merely working on the soundtrack for the upcoming movie.
He said, "What happened is, me and [Kirkpatrick] are recording the title song for the soundtrack of Dead 7. It's cool, you've probably never heard anything like this before because it's myself, Chris is in it, Nick Carter, AJ [McLean] and Howie [Dorough]. So the five of us and probably a couple guys from O-Town are singing on it as well. It's the first time we've ever done something like that."
"Dead 7" is expected to air on SyFy this Apr. 1
