Chicago Bulls NBA 2015 Roster News, Rumors: Derrick Rose 'Doesn't Have Any' Soreness In Knee, Could Suit Up for Playoffs
This year has been an up and down season for Derrick Rose, who is playing in his first full season since he got injured two years ago.
While one can argue that he has not played a number of games for Chicago, Rose has 46 games – more than of the season, which is definitely not bad for Bulls fans.
In fact, Rose has been in his explosive self when 2015 began, averaging more than 20 points and 5 assists each game going to the All-Star Break.
Unfortunately, Rose once against injured his right knee, and he needed surgery.
After several weeks of waiting, and a seesaw ride for the Chicago Bulls, who have only won 11 out of their 20 last games, which is definitely not a good sign for Windy City. From 33-20 back in February, which is only a couple of games behind conference leading-Atlanta, the Chicago slipped to as low as fourth spot, behind the Cavs and Raptors.
Fortunately, it looks like Rose is feeling good and should be ready to return before the regular season ends.
When asked about the pain in his knee, the former MVP immediately said he's feeling fine.
"I don't have it," he said. "I don't have any. So that's a good sign. The swelling is gone. So it's all about just getting on the court."
Now that Jimmy Butler is ready to return for the Bulls, and rookie Nikola Mirotic has been firing it up from all cylinders the past few weeks, Rose's return would entail a completely healthy Bulls starting five for the first time this season.
