'Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris' DLC News: First Expansion for Game Arriving in December
The first "Destiny 2" downloadable content (DLC) expansion, titled "Curse of Osiris" has been announced, and it is applicable to both the standard player level and power levels. The new expansion DLC was announced recently during Sony's Paris Game Week showcase, where different game developers shared new details about their next outings.
According to reports, "Curse of Osiris" will give a boost to "Destiny 2's" level cap, allowing players to reach up to level 25 and Power Level 330. This is a significant raise from the previous game's cap, where players only got to ultimately reach level 20 and Power Level 300. It is also noteworthy that in the previous game, players only make it to Power Level 305 with the use of mods. With the "Curse of Osiris," they can now make it to Power Level 335.
The new expansion DLC also adds a character to the game, a female ghost named Sagira. Voiced by "Deadpool" and "Gotham" actress Morena Baccarin. The new female character reportedly belongs to Osiris. The game will also see the return of Brother Vance, who was first introduced in the first "Destiny" game, as well as the old warlock exile Osiris.
Furthermore, the new Mercury maps for the game were also unveiled, offering a glimpse of the game's new landscape. The trailer for the game also features new items and fear, as well as a new campaign, new strikes and changes to almost all of the original game's classes.
"Destiny 2" will follow the story of Osiris and the Vex as they summon the robots from the past and future to do something terrible to the solar system. In the game, the player is the one force that Osiris and Vex will not expect to come.
The first expansion for "Destiny 2" is set for release on Dec. 5 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
