'Destiny 2' News: Xur Appears With New Weapons to Sell

Xur has reappeared in "Destiny 2" with new weapons for gamers to ponder on buying.

In "Destiny 2," Xur is an unappealing weapons merchant that pops up in different parts of the fantasy world in the game, with his purpose to sell a variety of weapons and armors to Warlocks, Titans, and Hunters, which will ultimately benefit them in their performance and battles.

According to GameSpot, Xur can currently be found in Io, around the Giant's Scar region. When players open their map on the Giant's Scar, they can spot Xur hiding around the top left corner.

However, players will have to search tediously for Xur on the in the Giant's Scar because he will be lurking inside a cave.

Meanwhile, Xur has ready a selection of weapons that players can choose from this week.

The merchant has a submachine gun Riskrunner, Mechaneer's Tricksleeves with Hunter Glass Gauntlets, chest armor Hallowfire Heart, and Transversive Steps for Warlock Class Leg Armor.

Vg247 lists the pros and cons of the Riskrunner so that players of "Destiny 2" can have a guide on whether it would be good for them to buy the weapon.

The Riskrunner has low damage ability, but it offers great balance in handling, which makes it an easy weapon to use in a firefight. For a submachine gun, the Riskrunner has an impressive large magazine, along with a good range and a little recoil.

The submachine gun is also handy in Arc Damage because players can do bigger damage to their opponents. At the same time, the Riskrunner helps protect players from enemy attacks.

Using the Riskrunner is also an advantage in the long run because of its long overcharge and additional damage to every hit. Overall, adding the Riskrunner to a player's list of weapons is a big advantage in the game.

'Destiny 2' is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
