Destiny 2' Patch 1.03 Fixes Map Exploits, Bugs: Update Fixes Map Issues, Prepares for Faction Rallies
"Destiny 2" now has a new patch 1.03 which can be downloaded on PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
Inquisitr suggests that the new update fixes map issues among others, and with the latest patch, the "Call to Arms" weekly milestone can now be completed in much shorter time-period.
Although a few fixes have been made, the current update does not include a fix for the Trials of Osiris event which was reverted to the Eternity map when players started going beyond the Alter of Flame map. In addition, the Exodus Crash strike has not been fixed, which prevents players from completing the Prestige Nightfall.
Perhaps the main purpose of the "Destiny 2" patch is to prepare the game for the Faction Rallies. Faction Rallies have been included, unfortunately, it is not yet live.
Faction Rallies should reintroduce the Dead Orbit, Future War Cult, and New Monarch into the franchise. Events are expected to start during the Tuesday weekly reset and will run until the next reset on Oct. 3 allegedly.
Guardians who are successful in completing the campaign and are able to reach level 20 will have the chance to pledge their services to one of the three factions. Completing other events such as the Raid and Crucible will grant players tokens which can be made into a faction in exchange for faction packages.
By the end of the end, the faction with the most number of packages handed out should find a powerful weapon on sale. The leading team should only pay 1,000 Glimmer for it while the rest will have to shed 50,000 Glimmer to acquire the weapon.
"Destiny 2" maintenance ended earlier than expected, lasting only seven hours. Patch 1.03 is now available for PS4 and Xbox One gamers to download.
