'Detective Conan' Episode 880 Spoilers: The Junior Detective League Gets Invited to a Haunted Mansion?
Another television original episode is coming this week on the Japanese mystery anime series, "Detective Conan." What kind of trouble will The Junior Detective League get caught in this time around?
Conan Edogawa's posse of young detectives from Teitan Elementary will be stuck with yet another mystery to solve on an upcoming television original episode titled "The Detective Boys and the Haunted House."
As shown in the preview for the episode, it seems that the kids will be invited to a particularly creepy looking mansion where, almost immediately, Genta and Ayumi spot a yellow specter come and go before their eyes.

But given Conan's track record with the so-called supernatural creatures that go bump in the night, this one may well turn out to be the product of human devices. As to what purpose the haunting is being done is something that The Junior Detective League will have to work on together in order to arrive at the best possible explanations.
On the other hand, the previous episode ended with Conan figuring out that Sera has lied to him about having studied in America when the girl unconsciously called Conan's sport football instead of soccer.
The English call American soccer football, therefore, Sera came from England instead of from America as what she has claimed. And while pondering over the reason why Sera would lie to him about this, a flash of memory hits Conan that may lead to some significant development in the yet to be resolved 17-year-old murder case that has been featured in past episodes.
But this will have to wait for a while as the narrative focuses on the younger detectives' haunted adventures. Will they be brave enough to see this newest challenge through?
"Detective Conan" airs on Saturdays at 6 p.m. JST on Yomiuri TV. Episodes are also available for selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
