'Divinity Original Sin 2' Class Guides, Tips & Cheats: How to Gain, Manage Items

Larian Studios' role-playing game "Divinity: Original Sin II" is quite as complex as its preceding title. The simplest mistakes could be crushing in battle or could be damning for one's survival.

Listed below are a few tips that players should take in mind before setting forth into the world of Rivellon.

Choosing the right kind of character is important as the game can be challenging from the moment the adventure starts. Like in the preceding title, players are able to choose from pre-made characters or they can customize their own. The safest option would be to go with default characters since players will be able to customize them eventually.

Again, "Original Sin II" is complicated from the get-go, as there is just so much to do even in the opening area alone, where players can spend over 10 hours discovering new items and secrets. From the starts, players should come across easily obtainable items that are necessary but are also easy to miss.

For instance, gamers should take a bedroll, an item that will allow users to heal their party outside of battle, and a shovel, which players can use to dig up suspiciously-looking mounds, as they often contain treasure.

On the west side of town, players should encounter a man named Gawin lurking who will talk about Teleportation Gloves, an item that will grant players access to a Teleportation spell. It will also be useful in battle. With it, players will be able to move enemies around the battlegrounds.

Along the beach, still west of the town, players should find three crocodiles. They should kill them and pick up some items scattered around, one of the items there will be the Gloves of Teleportation.

When it comes to managing items, players should invest on their favorite merchant. When gamers gift them items, they eventually will start to cozy up to you. At first, this will be hard because of limited resources, but in the long run, players should be able to sell items at a higher rate. And when their stock refills, items should be available at a cheaper price.

One way of gaining extra resources is by stealing from the rich. Players should be able to find their essentials and have a few more left to sell to the merchants.

"Original Sin II" debuted on Sept. 14. It is now available on Microsoft Windows.
