'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 23 Spoilers: Goku and Vegeta Face Frieza

Fans will finally be seeing Goku and Vegeta fight Frieza in the upcoming episode of "Dragon Ball Super," and many wonder if their training with Whis is enough to defeat the newly resurrected Frieza.

Bulma apparently has to bribe Whis with fancy-looking desserts, in order for the latter to send Goku and Vegeta back to Earth. The two fighters have been training with Whis, and even if they still haven't finished transforming into their Super Saiyan blue form yet, they were badly needed on Earth.

The battlefield is now ready for the ultimate battle between the two Super Saiyans and Frieza, and in the sneak peek released for the upcoming episode, there is no doubt that Frieza is very eager to beat Vegeta and Goku.

In the next episode, which is titled "Earth! Gohan! A Desperate Situation! Hurry back Son Gokū!" Vegeta may have to battle with Tagoma first, according to Yibada, since the Saiyan prince was seen in the video ready to take a shot on Ginyu's minion.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Z fighters, especially Gohan, are looking thoroughly beaten up at the start of the promo. In the last episode, Ginyu finally got "resurrected" when he took over Tagoma's body. Gohan managed to still defeat Ginyu/Tagoma in his Super Saiyan form, but Frieza did not sit idle after seeing Gohan's victory over Ginyu/Tagoma.

According to Attack of the Fan Boy, the evil leader tortured Goku's son by punching him nonstop. The website pointed out that the anime had a different interpretation, since in the "Resurrection F" movie, Frieza blasted shots after shots of laser beams at Gohan. However, just like the movie, Piccolo still managed to save Gohan from Frieza's further attacks. The website also urged the viewers to watch the original movie to see its similarities and differences from the TV show.

Watch "Dragon Ball Super" episode 23 on Fuji TV this Sunday, Dec. 13.
