E3 2017 Giveaway, Details: One Lucky Winner Gets Two Free Passes, Trip to LA
As previously confirmed, the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo this year is going to be open to the public for the first time. The event will be held on June 13 to 15 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and ticket prices are sold at $250 per head.
However, for those who want to take their chances in the hopes of getting a free E3 2017 pass plus a trip to Los Angeles, they can join a sweepstakes held by Glixel, which closes on Friday, April 28.
No purchase is necessary to enter the raffle. An interested contestant only has to input their email address, name and zip code number to get a chance.
Entries can also be sent through direct mail and should be posted to: 1290 Avenue of the Americas New York, New York 10104. The letter should be sent on or before April 28 and received by May 2 in order to be considered. Only one entry is allowed per person.
The lucky winner will get two passes for E3 2017's computer, video and mobile games event and an accomodation and airfare budget worth a total of $2,000.
Aside from Entertainment Software Association, the E3 event organizer, Glixel's E3 2017 raffle is also in partnership with leading video game media publishers IGN, Polygon and GameSpot.
The contest is only open to residents of the United States of America but excluding those who are residing in Alaska, Hawaii, Rhode Island, Puerto Rico, Michigan and U.S. military installations overseas.
Before this year's E3, the event was always an invite-only basis, with only video game publishers, creators and journalists allowed to enter the event.
The E3 2017, however, is publicly open to 15,000 people at most and has over 200 exhibitors lined up for the event. This is part of the ESA's effort to finally bring both video gamers and gaming industry leaders together in one place.
