Emma Stone Dating Dave McCary: 'Maniac' Star and SNL Writer Seeing Each Other for Three Months

Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone has a new guy in her life. Reports reveal that the "Maniac" star has been dating "Saturday Night Live" (SNL) writer and segment director Dave McCary.

Stone and McCary allegedly met when she hosted SNL in December and she did a sketch he directed. The two, however, have at least been dating for the last three months, according to People.

The actress was at the premiere of McCary's film "Brigsby Bear" in July in Los Angles. It wasn't easy to spot they were dating as Stone and McCary mingled with groups. Reps for the actress, however, have not commented on the reports about her new boyfriend.

Stone is the third Hollywood celebrity who is dating an SNL production staff in recent months, according to E! News. Ben Affleck is also dating Lindsay Shookus, a producer on SNL. Scarlett Johansson has been seen dining out and publicly kissing Colin Jost, one of SNL's stars.

The "La La Land" star hasn't been linked to anyone following her breakup with "Hacksaw Ridge" actor Andrew Garfield in 2015. They were together for at least three years and rumors surfaced in August that the exes reunited. It looks like that's not the case now.

"I'm nothing but supportive and her biggest fan," Garfield said of his former girlfriend. Stone once stated Garfield will always be someone she loves even if they are no longer together.

Meanwhile, Stone will have a busy year ahead of her at work. Aside from her upcoming Netflix series "Maniac" with Jonah Hill, she will also film the live-action flick "Cruella" for Disney and the historical drama "The Favourite" with Rachel Weisz and Nicholas Hoult.

The actress was last seen on the big screen as the legendary tennis pro Billie Jean King in "Battle of the Sexes" with Steve Carell. The movie came out in the U.S. last September while it will premiere in Europe and Asia in November.
