'Empire' Season 2 Spoilers: Lucious and Cookie Join Forces to Protect Their Family
Fans of the hit drama series "Empire" will have to wait a bit longer for the show's next episode since Fox will air the World Series. The show will come back on Nov. 4; however, fans may wait for a new episode may even take longer if the Series ends up having a Game 7.
In the last episode, Lucious (Terrence Howard) finally got his charges dropped, and is now a free man. Viewers also saw a very violent "Empire" episode, where Tiana (Serayah McNeill) got ambushed by two women who pretended to be fans, and stole her bag. Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) believes that Lucious is behind Tiana's attack since "many signs point to Empire's main man being guilty," according to Variety.
Two burglars also broke in Lyon Dynasty label and attacked Cookie and Laz (Adam Rodriguez), and things only got worse since the episode ended with Hakeem (Bryshere Gray) being kidnapped by the same men that attacked Cookie.
On the next episode of "Empire," which is entitled "A High Hope for a Low Heaven," Lucious and Cookie finally made an agreement to "work together," in order to protect their family. The two characters do not have a lot of screen time together, according to Carter Matt, and viewers will finally see them join forces for their children.
