'Fallout 4' DLC Release Date & Update: Three Types of DLC Coming, To Include Underwater Exploration?
It's been two months since Bethesda Game Studios released the open world action role-playing video game "Fallout 4." At this point, many of its gamers are already looking forward to getting the already confirmed DLC that has yet to be released sometime this year.
According to a report by Crossmap, there are rumors that the first DLC of the game will be coming before March. There is no confirmation to that though so fans will have to wait and stay tuned for the exact details. Nonetheless, there are several rumors going around about the DLC.
As noted in VG 24/7, a lot is expected from Bethesda Games in the coming days. Reports also said that they will be splitting the DLC for the game into three parts. The first one expected to come are the free updates. "We'll be doing regular free updates to the game, and like Skyrim, these will come with not just fixes, but new features," said director Todd Howard.
Another thing expected from the DLC is the single-player content which may bring along new quests and perhaps some additional companions. There's also the Creation Kit, a suite of mod tools for the role-playing game, which has been previously announced to arrive early this year.
Autoomobile also noted some predictions for the content of the upcoming DLC. According to the site, underwater vaults may be incorporated as several fans have hoped to explore the underwater world aside from the usual Boston Wasteland's cities. The aquatic-based exploration speculations started after a gamer accidentally discovered the ocean has something under it.
Crossmap noted that the gamer found a lootable item and a pump underwater. Fans are now wondering what the pump could be and whether it will be part of the DLC or not. Right now it's all uncertain but they will just have to wait and see what Bethesda has in store for the game.
Meanwhile, Bethesda is reported to be selling the "Fallout 4" Season Pass for $30 only. It will be available for Steam, PS4 and Xbox One.
