Fifth Harmony Split Rumors: Normani Kordei Confirms They're Not Breaking Up

Since the members of Fifth Harmony started having their individual projects, rumor has it that the group is already on the verge of breaking up. Recently, however, singer and Fifth Harmony member Normani Kordei revealed that the rumors are simply not true.

Kordei, who recently signed a solo management deal, revealed earlier this week that despite the new opportunities coming her way, she has no plans of leaving her group. In a recent interview, the singer said she finds the split rumors funny. She added that fans sometimes just tend to misconstrue and misread things and take them out of context.

According to Kordei, their group is in a great place right now, so there is no reason for them to disband. "I'm like, no, I'm not leaving my group. I would never. We're on such a high right now. We're at our peak. It would be dumb at this point, and it's not what I want to do with my heart and soul. That wasn't even a thought," she said.

Kordei went on to shed light on her recent solo management deal, which led to speculations about a potential Fifth Harmony breakup. According to her, it's just that she got her own manager to help guide her with whatever she wants to do outside the group. She stressed that having a solo management deal doesn't necessarily mean having to leave Fifth Harmony.

She also cited her fellow group members, Ally Brooke Hernandez, Lauren Jauregui, and Dinah Jane Hansen, who were recently featured in songs not made by the group.

"It's really special to have a group of women that are confident enough in ourselves that we can be confident in the next person. It's just cool that we can all support each other, not because we're forced to or we have to, but because we genuinely love each other and we're happy," said Kordei.
