Fifty Shades of Grey movie cast rumors have been circulating for months now, and dozens of actors and actresses have been associated with the main cast roles.

Just last week it was confirmed that Sam Taylor-Johnson would be directing the movie adaptation, which will be adapted into a screenplay by Kelly Marcel.

The two main character parts up for grabs are for powerful billionaire, 27 year old Christian Grey, and 22 year old Anastasia Steele, who he falls in love with.

Grey is described as having "unruly dark-copper-colored hair and intense, bright gray eyes."

Although many names have been connected with the Christian Grey part, the main contenders on the Internet rumors have been Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer, Henry Cavill. However, recently joining them as one of the favorites for the part was Robert Pattinson from the Twilight series of films.

The main names associated with Anastasia Steele so far have been Alexis Biedel, Emma Watson, and Mila Kunis, although all have denied being directed contacted about the role in the past.

The Fifty Shades of Grey movie is being produced by Michael De Luca and Dana Brunetti
