'Finding Dory' News: The Film's First Trailer Premiered on 'Ellen'

Ellen DeGeneres recently released the new trailer of her upcoming film, "Finding Dory," on her website and on YouTube. The talk show host will be reprising her role as Dory, the ever-forgetful fish who helped Marlin (Albert Brooks) find his missing son, Nemo (Alexander Gould).

The new trailer showed Dory, who is talking in her sleep, and was mumbling about her mother. Dory was seen "sleep-walking" after, but was assisted by Nemo and Marlin back to her "home." The next clip showed Dory saying she remembered something, which is about her family.

Dory said that her family is out there somewhere, and rushes to the ocean to find them. However, her memory is a bit shady, and can't remember their whereabouts. Her memories come and go, and are in bits and pieces. Dory said she remembers something important, and it may be about some clams, oysters, or mollusks, which she is really not sure of.

Ellen first announced the news about the "Finding Dory" in 2013, according to ABC News. The host said that the movie will be "fantastic, hilarious, and warm." "It's everything that you want it to be!" she said. During her interview with People last August, Ellen teased about a few details about the movie. "She's been lost for a long time, and she's just tried to act like everything's fine. And in this film, you see that it's kind of like she's taken a little bit of a — she's paid a toll on it," the host said.

The website said that the movie will feature new characters, and they include Diane Keaton as Dory's mom, Eugene Levy as her dad, Ed O'Neill as Hank the octopus, and Ty Burrell as Bailey the beluga whale.

It has been since 2003 when the original "Finding Nemo" characters were last seen on the big screen. "Finding Dory" will premiere June 17 next year.
