Floyd Mayweather Sr. Believes Manny Pacquiao is Too Easy for His Son, Fight Will Happen
The chance of a Pacquiao-Mayweather fight that fans of both parties have been anticipating is still hanging in the air as Floyd Mayweather is still reluctant to fight the Filipino boxing icon. While waiting for the right time to make a decision, Mayweather has taken to social media to insult Pacquiao. This has become tiresome for some of Mayweather's fans and an outrage to fans of Pacquiao.
Even with Mayweather's reluctance to fight Pacquiao, however, Floyd's father, Floyd Mayweather Sr., still thinks that Pacquiao would be an easy fight for the younger Mayweather. Mayweather Jr. still has two more fights in his contract with Showtime before retiring from boxing. The older Mayweather says that Amir Khan will be the next one to fight his son, not Pacquiao.
"He might fight Amir Khan," Floyd Mayweather Sr. says. "Honestly, myself, I would like to see Floyd have a couple fights where he ain't fighting all these big, tough fighters."

"I'm not saying that Floyd's not going to fight the best, because that's all Floyd has fought is the best, but I'm saying right now, since he ain't but a couple fights before he ends his career, I'm just saying that maybe those couple of fights could be easy," he adds.
Still, the older Mayweather thinks that the fight will surely happen and will probably be the last of the two fights the younger Mayweather has in his contract.
"It's gonna happen. That fight's gonna happen. Trust me. That fight's definitely gonna happen. It's a fight for the world, man, right there. It's the biggest fight that has ever been in life, so like I said man, that fight's gonna happen," Mayweather Sr. said. He admitted, however, that he doesn't know his son's plans for 2015.
