'Fuller House' News: Creator Would Love to Have Appearance By the Olsen Twins
With the upcoming reboot of the classic TV series "Full House" soon approaching, fans are looking forward to see their favorite characters back on the small screen.
According to Variety, the original cast of the series will be seen in the upcoming premiere season of "Fuller House." However, most of the characters will appear as guest stars, while the show will put focus on Candance Cameron Bure as D.J. Tanner-Fuller, Jodie Sweetin as Stephanie Tanner, and Andrea Barber as Kimmy Gibbler.
However, it was reported that the adorable young sister of the Tanner sister will not be seen in the upcoming reboot. The role of Michelle Tanner was portrayed by Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen in the original series.
The stars of "Fuller House" recently spoke to Ellen DeGeneres about the matter. They expressed their hope to see the twins make an appearance on the series if "Fuller House" receives a second season. However, they did explain that the series will still acknowledge Michelle's presence. Therefore, fans will still feel their presence on the series.
Meanwhile, the creator of the series, Jeff Franklin, recently hinted at a possible appearance of the twins. According to E! News, he stated, "I am still hopeful that Mary-Kate or Ashley or both of them will come back and be a part of it, even if it's just for an hour. We miss that. Everybody does feel that hole in the family. But it's like, all family reunions, there's always somebody that doesn't show up. But hopefully next time around, we'll have them back. No hard feelings, but I really was hoping to get that picture."
"Fuller House" is expected to premiere on Netflix with a 13-episode season this Feb. 26.
