Galaxy Note 4 Rumors: New Version to Be 15 Percent Faster Than Note 3

The upcoming Galaxy Note 4 will be 15 percent faster than the Note 3, according to recent AnTuTu benchmark scores.

This very same data was used last week to determine the specs that will appear on the Note 4 and it also reveals the difference in processing power with both of the upcoming models and current versions.

Two versions of the Note 4 will launch, according to the data with one model packing an Exynos 5433 chip and the other with a Snapdragon 805. The benchmarks show that the Exynos 5433 is the faster of the two, but even with that, the Snapdragon 805 bests the 801 and 800 by at least 15 percent. Those older chips can be found in the Note 3.

The full results of these benchmark tests can be found here.

The listing also reveals a QHD 2560 x 1440 display for both versions of the device. Other specs found in the benchmark include Android 4.4.3, 3GB RAM and a 16-megapixel camera.

Other recent rumors discuss the choices Samsung plans to make when it comes to software for the phablet as the company plans to add a few new features including Swipe to Launch Motion Launcher and Smart Fingerprint.

A previous SamMobile report claimed that Samsung is currently testing out a few new software features that utilize the Galaxy S5 hardware and plans to debut them on the Note 4. Swipe to Launch and Smart Fingerprint are just a few of the features that will come on the new software.

The Swipe to Launch Motion Launcher will be similar to the HTC One M8's motion launcher feature which means it could be used to swipe gestures on the screen to wake the display, launch the camera and more. Smart Fingerprint could allow users to customize actions when a finger print in scanned.
