'Game of Thrones' Season 6 News: Biggest Action Sequence Ahead

"Game of Thrones" writer, Bryan Cogman, recently shared some exciting details about the upcoming season of the hit HBO series.

Ever since the dramatic finale of "Game of Thrones" Season 5, there has been much anticipation for the next season of the series. With that, Cogman revealed that the upcoming season will present the biggest action sequence to have ever been done on the series.

According to Entertainment Weekly, he said, "We've always wanted to get to a place—story-wise and budget-wise and time-wise and resource-wise—where we would be able to do a proper battle, with one army on one side, one army on another side."

However, Cogman did not reveal much about what exactly will take place in the upcoming scene. An executive producer of the show, Dan Weiss, also shared some details regarding the matter. He explained that the scene was not easy to do.

He said, "We wondered, 'Why don't you see more fully fleshed-out battles in movies and TV?' Then you get into the nitty-gritty of what it takes to actually shoot these things in a way that isn't just helter-skelter chaos but actually gives you a sense of battle geography and the ebb and flow, and you realize why."

Fans have been developing their own theories on what the upcoming scene could present. There are speculations that it will involve Daenerys Targaryen, since she was last seen surrounded by an army of Dothraki men. Fans believe that her army could be taking on the army of Dothraki men.

Other rumors suggest that the scene could be centered on Jon Snow leading a group of White Walkers. There are still many questions surrounding his fate in the season to come, since the previous season ended with him being stabbed to death.

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 is expected to premiere on HBO this Apr. 24.
