'Game of Thrones' Season 6 Spoilers: Emilia Clarke 'Mother of Dragons' Excites Fans
Star of the hit HBO series "Game of Thrones" recently shared some hints about the upcoming season of the series.
The mother of dragons, Emilia Clarke, was able to open up about what "Game of Thrones" season 6 will be like during the Golden Globes Awards Ceremony.
Emilia Clarke was recently nominated for Best Actress in a series during this year's Golden Globe awards. While she did not take home a win, she did give fans something to look forward to for the sixth season of "Game of Thrones."
According to E! Online, she stated, "I really can't say much apart from you'll see the biggest moments on television that have ever existed."
With that, fans can expect that the upcoming season will be action-packed. In a previous interview with LA Times, Clarke also expressed her excitement for the upcoming season.
She stated, " [In the previous season] you have a couple of episodes where you're like, "OK, feeding information, I get it. We're finding out about this person. And we know about that person. And oh, there's that person." But this season coming up, that we're about to film, there's none of that. It's just go, go, go, go. Shocking moment to shocking moment. Epic moment to epic moment. It's mental; it's epic."
It was said that the upcoming season will be exciting for even the fans of the George R.R. Martin books. This is because the source material for the upcoming season, which is the sixth book of the novel series, "Winds of Winter," will not be releasing before the return of the HBO series. With that said, there will be a lot of surprises in store for both the novel readers and viewers of the TV show.
"Game of Thrones" season 6 premieres on HBO this Apr. 24.
