'Girl Meets World' spoiler, news, cast: Show takes on the task of featuring Asperger's Syndrome in the next episode

Following the success of "Boy Meets World" in the mid-90s, "Girl Meets World" has definitely been one of the most looked forward to reboot shows. However, unlike many who feared that it will not be at par with the original show, it also earned a lot of approval from viewers as it was able to take on its own identity, while at the same time tackling many social issues that have not exactly been discussed in Disney shows before.

Girl Meets World has been successfully interlacing its story lines with current problems, such as the cutting of art programs across schools in the United States, which was featured in one of its episodes. It is quite admirable how the show is able to present these kinds of stories, while tackling social responsibility quite well. In the next episode, however, it seems Girl Meets World will be a little more ambitious as it takes on the sensitive subject of Asperger's syndrome.

Asperger's syndrome is an autism spectrum disorder characterized by difficulties in social interaction and nonverbal communication, further made difficult by restricted and repetitive patterns of behavior and interests. This condition has reportedly affected 35 million people worldwide.
