Greece vs Ivory Coast Live Stream Free: Watch World Cup 2014 Football Online (ESPN 2 TV Start Time)
Greece will play the Ivory Coast on Tuesday as the African nation looks to secure their progression through to the knock out rounds of World Cup 2014. The game is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. ET and can be watched on TV on the ESPN 2 network or online through free live stream (details below).
Group C is one of the closest in the tournament coming into the final round of games. Every team is still technically in it, and although Colombia have already guaranteed themselves a spot in the Last 16, one of Ivory Coast, Japan or Greece can still join them.
Ivory Coast are in the driving seat, and currently occupy second position in the group with three points. Japan and Greece are in third and fourth respectively with one point each. Japan are ahead by way of goal difference, having a -1 where as Greece have -3.
Greece have never reached the Last 16 in a World Cup in their history, but to do so they are going to have to shed their defensive shackles and go on the offensive. Amazingly in Greece's entire World Cup history they have scored only one goal. They must rewrite their history today and go on a bit of a scoring spree to try and qualify for the Last 16.
Even if Greece score today, if Japan win then Greece will have to score at least three goals to stand a chance.
Meanwhile, the Ivory Coast will not want to leave anything to chance today. They will come out looking for the three points to guarantee themselves a spot in the knock out rounds. Out of the three teams vying for the second qualification spot, Ivory Coast are the team with their destiny in their own hands.
