Grey's Anatomy Season 10 Starts Filming July 16

"Grey's Anatomy" fans will be delighted to hear that the tenth season of the ABC medical drama will begin production in just one month on July 16.

Just after midnight on Sunday morning Camilla Luddington, who plays Dr. Jo Wilson, on the hit ABC drama took to Twitter to announce her excitement over the news of the production start date.

"#Countdown. In 1 month exactly ill throw on my scrubs and step back into Seattle Grace. (Grey/Sloan) now what was wilson doing last..? ;)" the actress tweeted.

Luddington certainly has something to be excited for as she was recently promoted to a regular actress on the show, TVGuide.com reports.

Other interns who will be joining Liddington in promotion to series regulars include Gaius Charles (Shane Ross), Jerrika Hinton (Stephanie Edwards) and Tessa Ferrer (Leah Murphy).

While the return of the four interns is met with delight, it's not exactly the most telling casting information. Audiences are waiting on the edge of their seats to hear if James Pickens Jr. (Richard Webber) will be returning to the show for season 10. Perhaps the biggest cliffhanger of season 9 concerns Dr. Richard Webber. It's not clear if he is alive or dead. But it seems nobody at "Grey's Anatomy" is going provide answers about Webber's state.

"I love that people are asking [if he's alive or dead] … I'm not going to answer it because I like that it's a question," executive producer and show creator Shonda Rhimes told Entertainment Weekly.

Looks like fans will have to wait until season 10 to find out if Dr. Richard Webber survived.
