'Grey's Anatomy' Season 14 Episode 3 Spoilers: Meredith Torn Between Nathan and Megan
Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) is torn between her feelings for Nathan (Martin Henderson) and her respect for Megan (Abigail Spencer). Meanwhile, Amelia (Caterina Scorsone) tries to keep her big tumor a secret in episode 3.
Previously on the premiere of "Grey's Anatomy" season 14, Nathan told Meredith that Megan rejected his marriage proposal because he still has feelings for her.
Afterwards, Meredith stormed off, and according to executive producer Krista Vernoff, Pompeo's character felt angry about the situation because she is torn between Nathan and Megan.

"After Mer performed groundbreaking surgery on Megan, they have been through something together, and they have a profound amount of respect for each other," Vernoff explained to TVLine.
But even though Meredith genuinely wants Nathan to end up with Megan for good, she still has feelings for him.
"It's complicated for her. ... Feelings don't disappear overnight," Vernoff added.
Meanwhile, on the next episode of "Grey's Anatomy" season 14, titled "Go Big or Go Home," Amelia will try her hardest to keep her big tumor a secret.
On the episode 3 promo, DeLuca (Giacomo Gianniotti) asks Amelia if they should tell someone about her tumor, but Amelia wants them to keep quiet. However, Amelia might not be able to keep it secret for long.
A newcomer to Grey Sloan, played by Greg Germann, tells Amelia, "You are not of sound mind and you haven't been for years," right in front of Meredith.
Later on, it appears that Webber (James Pickens, Jr.) has already caught wind of Amelia's secret, and will try to convince her to tell people about her alarming tutor.
"You are hurting the people that love you," Webber tells Amelia.
Vernoff said that Amelia's tumor will play into how she and Owen will move forward with their marriage.
"Grey's Anatomy" season 14 airs every Thursday night at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
