'Grimm' Season 5 Spoilers: David Giuntoli Talks About Nick
With "Grimm" season 5 currently ongoing, fans are curious to see how Nick will fare for the rest of the season.
The past season of "Grimm" had Nick, played by David Giuntoli, dealing with many challenges. He suffered through many losses that involved his loved ones. It showed Nick losing both his mother and his romantic interest, Juliette, played by Bitsie Tulloch.
With that, Nick has been experiencing the aftermath of all the tragic events from season 4. During a previous interview with Blastr, Giuntoli shared some details about his character's state of mind in the current season.
He said, "Nick is foaming at the mouth and people think he's losing his mind, and all of his tramatic events have happened at once...Nick has gone off the deep end. And how do you play that as an actor? It's hard to play crazy. You have to play very determined, but you can't make sense to anybody else."
Along with that, he also spoke about what the rest of the season will hold for Nick. He said, "It's all just revenge this season. Also fatherhood, with Adalind. The Stockholm Syndrome, I would say. He's strange bedfellows with his previous mortal, sworn enemy. And he has to work with her. So, it's the Stockholm Syndrome thing."
According to TV Guide, the synopsis for the upcoming episode states, "Monroe receives a call from a relative in Germany that will bring Nick closer to his ancestors. But things get complicated when the nefarious group Black Claw also take an interest in this discovery. Elsewhere, Capt. Renard helps a mayoral candidate gain an edge on his opponent; and Trubel confronts Eve about Nick and Adalind."
"Grimm" season 5 episode 9, titled "Map of the Seven Knights," is expected to air on NBC this Friday, Feb. 19.
