GTA 5 for PS4 and Xbox One on Nov. 18, PC Version for Early 2015 Release
The critically-acclaimed open-world game by Rockstar, "Grand Theft Auto V" is getting ported version on the PC early next year and an Xbox One and Playstation 4 port this coming Nov. 18. While the game was first released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 September last year, the next-gen versions are promised some graphical improvements among others.
The next-gen versions of GTA V will be optimized for the higher-spec PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with increased draw distances, an increase in resolution, upgraded weather effects, as well as new vegetation and wildlife.
Players who got the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of the game can transfer their save files in both single-player and multiplayer over to the next-gen consoles. In addition to that, players who pre-order the next-gen ports of GTA V will be getting $1 million in in-game cash for both single-player and multiplayer modes.
Sony, in addition to the $1 million, will be providing a further $300,000 to the in-game bonus for the pre-order of the PlayStation 4 version.
The nearing release of the ports has players excited but not as exciting as the speculations that Rockstar is finally going to be releasing the Heists DLC before the release of the next-gen console ports. The rumor stems from the YouTube GTA V channel DomisLive Q&A video.
Apparently, he says that Rockstar might be releasing the much awaited Heists DLC sometime between Oct. 31 to the release date of the game on Nov. 18. However, it is unclear where he got this information and whether or not it is legitimate but with the numerous delays of the DLC since the release of the older-gen version of the game, fans will take what they can get.
