'Himouto! Umaru-chan R' Episode 4 Spoilers: Titular Character to Throw a Party for Her Friends?

Alex is gradually becoming quite a significant presence in the Domas' household, but what could his true intentions for befriending Umaru be on the Japanese comedy anime series, "Himouto! Umaru-chan R"?

The previous episode saw Taihei's co-worker, Alex, come visit Umaru once more, bearing a dating sim that got Kirie feeling very anxious about Alex's presence. She ended up defeating the guy in the said game and subsequently having illusions of herself being thanked by Umaru for spending time with Komaru. Will Kirie ever find out that Umaru and her supposed younger sister, Komaru, are one and the same?

On the other hand, Taihei also got some screen time when he attempted to control his sister's addiction to a game called "Chomp Chomp Watching," which has also been keeping his co-worker Alex up all night. However, just when he thought he has succeeded in moderating Umaru's game time by playing the game himself, a sequel was released. Will Taihei be able to go through the same cycle all over again?

Additionally, Umaru and Taihei's best friend and co-worker, Bomber, also witnessed Taihei the Demon's wrath when they couldn't keep out of the kitchen despite Taihei's kind advice. Taihei's anger quickly subsided in the end and the three of them were able to enjoy a sumptuous dinner.

But now that the idea has been introduced, will there be more instances of Taihei the Demon appearing in future episodes?

The preview for the upcoming episode titled "A Party With the Whole Gang" hints at more interactions between Umaru and Alex, as well as more sibling moments with the titular character and her hardworking brother, Taihei.

"Himouto! Umaru-chan R" airs on Sundays at 11:30 p.m. JST on AT-X and at midnight JST on Tokyo MX and BS11. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site.
