'Homeland' Season 5: Carrie's Life Will Be in Danger
In the next episode of "Homeland" season 5, Carrie Mathison's (Claire Danes) life will be in danger as she tries to gather more information about the old files she found.
"Homeland" season 5's upcoming episode, titled "All About Allison," will feature Mathison on the run. She will beg Allison to help her shed light on the old field reports, but the latter will not give her a helpful reply. Little does she know that a sniper will be hiding in the background and targeting her, according to Vine Report.
In the previous episode titled "Oriole," Mathison read old field reports and found out that Otto During (Sebastian Koch) is the reason why the Russian wanted to kill her. Oriole could have been her code name when she was still in the Middle East. She also found out that Ahmed Nazari is not really dead, and she was able to track his possible hideout in Amsterdam, the report details.
Going back to the meeting with Allison, Mathison could meet her end once the sniper squeezes the trigger. But the details about the sniper are still vague. In a promotional video for the episode, Russian intelligence officer Ivan Krupin, played by Mark Ivanir, was seen accompanied by Allison. This could point to Krupin as the boss behind the assassin.
Meanwhile, Saul will be on the brink of becoming a defector because of the tight circumstance he is in. With the CIA against him, Carrie leaving him, and his latest love interest turning out to be a Russian spy, he will be pushed into a desperate situation. Fans are wondering if he will finally betray the U.S. in the coming episode, Melty reports.
The trailer for season 8 is full of possibilities for Carrie, Saul, and the other characters. Fans will have to stay tuned to find out what will happen to them.
"Homeland" season 5 episode 8 airs on Sunday, Nov. 22.
