Honey Boo Boo Holiday Photo: Reality TV Star With Neon Green Hair

Honey Boo Boo's holiday photo has become an instant hit online among her fans, who have complimented the long neon green hair extensions the young starlet can be seen featuring in the picture.

The Christmas photo was taken at Smiley's Flea Market and Yard Sale in Georgia at the weekend, and shows Honey Boo Boo looking happy posing with her family.

Many have complimented the photo for its natural and honest style.

"That's lovely – they look like any other family having a fun day out together," posted BjornJohn77 on Facebook.

"Completely natural pic. Breath of fresh air compared to the overly fake photos posted by the Kardashian clan," JohntyJohn also blogged.

For many the photo seemed surprisingly normal, with Honey Boo Boo's neon green hair piece the only thing that stood out from the ordinary, and even that many have said is just a young girl having fun out with her family.

However, others have been more skeptical, and have questioned why the family, with all its new found wealth, still has not changed. Michael Langston Moore of The Examiner has stated in a Dec. 18 report: "While it's most likely that TLC doesn't want the family to dress extravagantly or otherwise alter their old standard of living, one can't help but look at this Honey Boo Boo holiday image and truly wonder how much the family is purposefully trying to conceal their newfound wealth."

Just last month it was reported that Honey Boo Boo had been featured in a new art piece, showing her made of trash. The star of hit reality TV show "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" - real name Alana Thompson – had been paid tribute to, via a new mosaic made entirely out of garbage.

Artist Jason Mecier created the work, and took more than 50 hours to complete the project.

The piece of Honey Boo Boo was made from various every day trash items such as coupons, butter, hair spray cans, Red Bull cans, toilet paper rolls, cheese, make-up among other similar items.

Artist Jason Mecier has joked about his portrait, "No roadkill was injured during the making of this portrait!"

In total the garbage piece was made out of 25 pounds of trash.

Meanwhile, the "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" star, Alana Thompson, also earlier this year gave her support to President Barack Obama as he won re-election to the White House.

The 7-year-old announced her support for the president in an appearance before the elections on an episode of "Jimmy Kimmel Live."
