Hook May Die in 'Once Upon a Time' and Emma Doesn't Realize It
Emma and Hook from "Once Upon a Time" have been going out for quite some time but every time they go out, they are always in some sort of danger. Worst of all, Emma doesn't know that they are in danger.
Sunday's episode saw Hook attempting to stop Rumple from stealing Emma's powers. Rumple's attempts have been thwarted however after Elsa helped Emma get control over her powers. Afterwards, Rumple plans to get the other ingredient he needs to get rid of the dagger: the heart of someone who knew him before he became the Dark One.
No one else knows that, however, except for Hook. He's ripped out his heart and though Hook's still alive, Rumple will be using him to run a few errands for him before ultimately killing him.
"Hook firmly believes that Rumplestiltskin is going to kill him. He has to do whatever Rumple tells him to, but can't help but already miss the idea of not having Emma," Collin O'Donoghue, who plays Hook, told Entertainment Weekly. "He's desperate to try and figure out a way to survive, but for somebody who prides himself on being a survivor, this is the last grasp."
Elsa has already released the Spell of Shattered Light but Emma may still not realize that Hook is already running on borrowed time.
"She senses something, but she doesn't have time to figure out. As we've established before, Regina spent a long time without her heart and it didn't stop her from loving Henry or Robin Hood," said Jennifer Morrison, who plays Emma Swan.
"Hook doesn't cease being Hook and doesn't cease having the feelings that she has for Emma," she added.
