'House of Cards' Season 4 Spoilers: Kevin Spacey Talks About Trump

While fans wait for the return of "House of Cards," teaser of the series has been hinting at an interesting season to come.

Fans of the series will know that the series is has been dealing with Frank Underwood's journey to be president of the United States. However, his obstacles are never ending, especially with the fact that his wife had just left him.

With the fictional presidential campaign in the series "House of Cards" season 4 coinciding with the actual presidential elections in the United Stated, the star of "House of Cards," Kevin Spacey, recently shared some insight about the matter.

According to Deadline, Spacey spoke about how it would be like to face one of the individuals actually running for president in real life, Donald Trump. He explained that a debate between his character Frank Underwood and Donald Trump would not even happen.

He said, "There would be a terrible accident on the way to the debate, and — it would be terrible, and very sad. He would kill Donald Trump. That's number one. Trump would never make it to election day. Done. Over."

Spacey did make an interesting distinction between Trump and another character's previous campaign on the series. He explained that Trump's campaign is similar to Wallace's. He said, "I mean, Frank Underwood would look at this particular year and find it as amusing as I do. It's exactly the same campaign. I mean, exactly the same."

With that, it was also reported that the creator of the series, Beau Willimon, has been vocal about his sentiments toward Donald Trump. Reports show that he often tweets about his opposition toward the presidential candidate. One of his tweets reads, "Putin and @realDonaldTrump have a lot to learn from any other. Putting a ACH behind in MACHO!"
