'How To Get Away With Murder' Season 2 Spoilers: Annalise Keating Returns 'Changed'; Laurel Gets Closer To Annalise
Fans of the American television series "How To Get Away with Murder" are already excited for its return to the small screen, following the events that took place before it went on a winter hiatus. It can be remembered that before the first half of season 2 closed, Annalise Keating (Viola Davis) was shot by Wes Gibbins (Alfred Enoch).
According to TVLine, Annalise will survive the incident but the memory of her near-death experience will forever be etched in her mind and heart. The whole thing will cause her to unleash a different side of her that no one had expected to see.
"We left her bleeding out on the floor — and when we come back, she's really broken," said showrunner Pete Nowalk. "It was really important to Viola and to me to play the reality of that — of a person who's gone through a major life trauma. We're going to see a whole different side of her," he continued.
But the badass personality of Annalise will remain, although it will be in a different way. A mini teaser released showed Annalise walking slowly, enduring a little bit of pain. But that doesn't stop her from going back to court for the hearing. She tells Bonnie Winterbottom (Liza Weil), "I didn't go through all this to not testify."
Season 2B of the show will also be revealing the answers to the question left from the first half. In the sneak peek released for episode 10 titled "What Happened To You, Annalise?" fans will see the professor of defense law carrying a baby. Vine Report noted that fans speculated the baby was Wes after learning that Annalise knew him when he was still called "Christophe."
Meanwhile, Design & Trend reported that Laurel Castillo (Karla Souza) will be sharing a closer relationship with Annalise in season 2B, especially after the incident wherein Annalise will be relying on Laurel a lot while she's still in the hospital.
"How To Get Away with Murder" season 2B will return on Feb. 11 at 10 p.m. on ABC.
