HTC Desire T7 Spotted in GFXBench; Specs Include 6.9-Inch Display, 5MP Camera, 1 GB of RAM

HTC is rumored to add a new model in their Desire lineup and it's going to be a budgeted low-end tablet called Desire T7. It may be coming out soon since according to International Business Times, the device has been spotted in the GFXBench site.

As revealed in the listing, the HTC Desire T7 carries the code name HTC IV5001-A. And as indicated by its name T7, the tablet is said to come with a 6.9-inch touchscreen display with 720 x 1280 pixels screen resolution.

The listing also detailed the hardware specs under the hood which includes a Spreadtrum SC8830 chipset with a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz. As for its graphic properties, the device will be equipped with ARM Mali-400 MP2 GPU. The chipset is paired with a modest 1 GB of RAM and has a built-in storage space of 16 GB.

Times News also revealed that the tablet will be equipped with a 5-megapixel rear and front camera. The rear camera comes with face detection, autofocus and LED flash. Both cameras can record full-HD videos.

The tablet is said to run with Android 5.0 Lollipop OS out of the box but Android Headlines noted that there may be a possibility that the device will be bumped off with the Android Marshmallow once production starts. The rumored Desire T7 is also noted to include connectivity options like Bluetooth, GPS, NFC and Wi-Fi.

According to GSM Arena, it's not the first time that details about the HTC Desire T7 has surfaced online. A Zauba listing which surfaced back in June 2015 also revealed a 7-inch Desire T7 tablet with dual-core processor. It was noted to cost around $170.

As of now, there are no official details yet from the Taiwanese multinational manufacturer of smartphones and tablets yet. But with the Mobile World Congress 2016 coming up next month, the HTC Desire T7 may pop out in the event and unveil more details about the alleged tablet.
