Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed News: Spotted Shopping Together at Jewelry Store

Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed were all smiles and very affectionate with each other as they were spotted shopping at a jewelry store on Sunday, Jan. 4.

The "Vampire Diaries" star could hardly keep his eyes away from his girlfriend as they splurged on jewelry at New Stone Age in West Hollywood.

Somerhalder was photographed kissing Reed several times during the shopping spree. Reed was dressed in a navy coat and silver gray scarf, dark blue jeans and black boots, and her hair was up in a messy bun. Somerhalder donned his ever-present olive fedora and wore a black leather jacket, dark jeans, and brown boots for the outing.

At one point, the actor was seen holding up a necklace while looking at his girlfriend for approval. The couple also lingered over a display of rings which were inside a glass case.

According to TMZ, the jewelry shopping trip comes after the finalization of the "Twilight" actress' divorce from singer Paul McDonald. Reed and McDonald filed for divorce in May 2014, citing irreconcilable differences, after two and a half years of marriage.

In splitting their assets, Reed is said to have gained three houses, three cars, and their German Shepherd named Enzo. Meanwhile, McDonald got their Nashville home, and the two have reportedly agreed to forego spousal support.

Reed's relationship with Somerhalder has been going strong since the two were seen together in several farmers markets last summer, and the two started dating shortly after she filed from divorce from the "American Idol" alum. Reed is Somerhalder's first serious relationship since splitting from his "Vampire Diaries" co-star and girlfriend of two years Nina Dobrev.
