Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed Engaged, But Nina Dobrev Still Close to Vampire Diaries Co-Star?
It has been previously reported that "Twilight" actress Nikki Reed has just confirmed her engagement to "The Vampire Diaries" star Ian Somerhalder. The two have been inseparable since they started dating last summer and have even adopted several animals together, so fans of the two know that an engagement is the next step to their whirlwind romance.
However, there are rumors claiming that Somerhalder is still close to his ex-girlfriend and "Vampire Diaries" co-star Nina Dobrev, and the two have been allegedly seen getting cozy in between takes on the set.
"Nina and Ian were very touchy in between takes," said an insider to Hollywood Life. "Nina walked in and sat next to Ian on the pew. When she sat down, she immediately leaned her head on his shoulder and just sat there for a few minutes until it was time to roll."

Dobrev and Somerhalder started dating in 2009 and ended their relationship in 2013.
Though many may think that this is a scenario that could cause a lot of drama for those involved, another Hollywood Life source said that even though Somerhalder has to work with his ex-girlfriend, Reed is confident in their relationship and has no problems with it whatsoever.
"Nikki is not worried whatsoever about Ian … She refuses to be jealous and until Ian does something wrong, which she doesn't expect to ever happen, she will not distrust Ian at all," said the insider.
Another source of the website claims that Reed is thinking of inviting Dobrev over for dinner in order to mend bridges with her. The two were formerly very close friends until Reed started dating Somerhalder, and it was previously reported that Dobrev said that the "Twilight" star violated "the girl code."
Despite the rumors, Reed and Somerhalder appear to be going strong. Another one of the actor's exes, Maggi Grace, who was his co-star in "Lost," has recently said that she is still friends with Somerhalder. The two split in 2009 after a year of dating.
In an interview with New You magazine, Grace said, "I haven't dated too many actors … Ian Somerhalder and I are still very good friends."
