Immigration Reform 2017: Michele Bachmann Supports Trump's Border Wall

Republican Michele Bachmann strongly supports President Donald J. Trump's border wall.

The former member of the United States House of Representatives told Breitbart News that Trump's number one priority should be immigration because of how it is changing the country.

"Build the wall. Stop the illegal immigration. Deport the 40 percent of illegal aliens who are here on Visa overstays," said Bachmann, adding that people don't see the 3 million illegal immigrants that enter the country every year. Aside from that, Bachmann also mentioned the refugees.

"Then we bring in all these refugees — maybe 50,000, maybe 100,000 depending on the year. That is the largest pipeline for bringing Muslims into the United States," added the Republican.

Bachmann said President Trump wants to stop the "intentional invasion" and penetration of "radical Islam" into the country because they know that it's a real threat to the country. She also added that judges should stop trying to be president of the United States and quit hindering Trump in taking care of immigration reform.

"The more legislation that we put in to stop all of this immigration from terrorist-oriented countries the American people will say, 'Thank you. It's about time,'" Bachmann explained.

Bachmann also said that the country doesn't need more laborers to come in. Instead, what they need to focus on are job increases and benefits package increases for the American workforce.

With President Trump's newest list of Immigration Principles & Policies, it appears that the White House is already going into that direction.

"The priority for Congress ought to be to save American lives, protect American jobs and improve the well-being of American communities. These reforms accomplish that," a senior representative of the Trump administration said last Sunday, the Politico confirmed.

However, the list — which includes coverage of the border wall, alien children, sanctuary cities, and a lot more — may not please the Democrats, as well as some Republicans, who have been lobbying for a way for illegal immigrant minors to have access to legal status.
