'Imposters' Season 2 News: 'Reign' Actress Rachel Skarsten Lands Major Recurring Role

"Imposters" has added a new actress to its cast lineup for season 2.

Rachel Skarsten is officially on board the show's upcoming installment, according to reports. The 32-year-old will take on the major recurring role of Poppy, Jules' (Marianne Rendón) sister. A private school-educated elitist, Poppy is the exact opposite of her sister.

Bravo's The Daily Dish points out that Skarsten is the perfect actress for the regal character. After all, she had just finished working on The CW's historical drama "Reign" in which she played Queen Elizabeth I. It's also worth noting that Skarsten is not the only character to look out for in season 2. Aside from the returning series regulars, guest star Uma Thurman will reprise her role as eccentric fixer Lenny Cohen.

Skarsten is known for her roles on the Canadian show "Lost Girl" and WB's "Birds of Prey." After her stint on "Imposters," she will appear on the crime drama film "Molly's Game," which hits the big screen on Dec. 25.

Since the Bravo program's renewal in April, further details about the next season have been limited. However, executive producer Adam Brooks told TVLine earlier this year that season 2 will see the main characters re-invent themselves. This twist opens a lot of storyline possibilities for the show's anticipated sophomore run.

"What's really interesting to us is that all our major characters no longer can be defined by what defined them at the beginning of Season 1," he teased. "Ezra, Jules and Richard were defined, first of all, by finding the love of their lives, losing that person and then realizing that they could go and try to find her. That quest is now done. Who are they now?"

The second season of "Imposters" premieres 2018 on Bravo. An exact release date has yet to be announced.
