'Inuyashiki Last Hero' Anime Spoilers: Future Episodes to Reveal More of Titular Superhero's Flaws?
The titular character continues to grow into his new role as the protector of his city on the Japanese action-sci-fi anime series, "Inuyashiki." What other types of villainous characters will he be facing until he once again comes face to face with his archenemy, Hiro Shishigami?
The previous episode saw the middle-aged superhero take on a Yakuza leader and his crew in a bid to save a young couple named Satoru and Fumino. The Yakuza leader, Samejima, had Fumino abducted and taken to his lair, but before he could do anything to her, she managed to fight back, wound him, and eventually run away.
But all this did was lead the yakuza to her fiancé Satoru's place, until Inuyashiki heard her screams for help and decided to help out. However, the confrontation served to reiterate, yet again, one of the hero's glaring weaknesses — that is, he is not a naturally violent man, and even still has trouble punching anyone.
And although he could not be killed owing to his robotic construction, a gunshot to the head can very easily render him unconscious.
Inuyashiki was able to save both Fumino and Satoru in the end, and even managed to cripple the yakuza after his self-defense mechanism activated, thereby releasing rockets that blinded and maimed his enemies.
However, while this fight and all the previous ones that Inuyashiki has had to take on ended in success, one can't help but wonder just how long he can continue on this mission, especially with the truth of the more violent cyborg, Hiro, still looming on the horizon?
Will he be able to not only improve his own skills but also work on his weaknesses, before his and Hiro's paths cross again?
