iOS 9.2 Jailbreak Update News: Todesco Continues to Tease as Pangu and TaiG Maintain Silence

In the world of jailbroken iOS, the long wait is usually worth it, but in the case of an iOS 9.2 jailbreak version, it seems that fans will have to wait until such time that famed jailbreakers Pangu 9 and TaiG come up with the much-awaited iOS.

Since both jailbreaking groups have zipped their lips for quite some time, Luca Todesco has come out of the open, telling the world that he has developed a jailbreak version of the iOS. Unfortunately, he won't be sharing the operating system with anyone. When asked by a fan on Twitter why he never releases anything he claims he developed, the iOS security researcher said, "Releasing is boring :)."

As of now, the latest jailbreaks that took the iPhone world by storm are versions for iOS 9.0, 9.0.1, and 9.0.2. With the recent release of Apple's iOS 9.2., and still no word from neither Pangu 9 nor TaiG, it is expected that the long wait will yet be longer.

While Todesco is gaining some hate from iOS fanatics, he did get some nods after he said that it would be best to expect for a jailbroken version of the iOS 9.1 first before demanding that jailbreakers come up with 9.2. He explained that "9.2. is much harder to jailbreak than 9.1" so fans can kiss their hopes good-bye for a 9.2 jailbreak anytime soon.

Todesco went on to give users some good piece of advice. "If you are on 9.1, don't update," he warned.

Other rumors suggest that a 9.1 and 9.2 version is actually existing somewhere though it is unlikely to be released to the public. This could mean that the world of jailbreakers may see their end sometime in the near future.

For now, fans can just wait for updates from Pangu 9 and TaiG regarding the developments of both iOS 9.1 and 9.2 jailbreak versions.
