iPad Mini 4, iPad Pro to Come with Enhanced Specs
Apple is rumored to release the iPad mini 4 and the iPad Pro soon, and these new devices will come with enhanced specs.
Based on recent rumors, Apple will release the iPad Pro on Nov. 11. Aside from that, new accessories, including the Apple Smart Keyboard and the Apple Pencil, are also rumored to be out on shelves on the same date, according to a 9to5Mac report cited by The Venture Capital Post.
Both physical and online stores will begin selling the iPad Pro on Nov. 11. Apple unveiled the 12.9-inch device in September and said at the time that the giant iPad will become available in November, but no specific date was mentioned.
The iPad Pro, which boasts of a 12.9-inch screen, has a resolution of 2732 x 1048 pixels and runs on the third-generation Apple A9X chip, making it 2.5 faster than the A7 chip. Its M9 motion co-processor assists the main CPU in performing smaller functions. The largest Apple tablet by far will cost between $799 and $1,079 depending on the variant.
While fans are expecting Apple to release the iPad Pro on Nov. 11, there is still no word as to when the iPad mini 4 will be available in stores. But if history is to become the basis of the release date, then the smaller iPad will also come out on the same day as the iPad Pro, the International Business Times India Edition reports.
The iPad mini 4 has a 7.9-inch screen with internal hardware similar to the iPad Air 2. It runs on the A8 chip together with the M8 motion co-processor. The device will cost $399 to $729, depending on the storage and connectivity options.
Both the new iPad devices will be available in silver, gold, and space gray colors. In addition, they can last at least 10 hours of web-surfing on a full battery. The new iPads sport an 8-megapixel iSight rear snapper and a 1.2-megapixel FaceTime snapper.
The Apple Pencil, which can be recharged using Light port, will come with a price tag of $99. The Smart Keyboard, on the other hand, will cost $169.
