iPhone 7 Rumors, iPhone 6S or iPhone Air?
People are still out buying the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus but there are already rumors about an iPhone 7. While the next Apple flagship won't be coming until next year, as per Apple's annual product cycles, spec details and release rumors are already making its rounds on the web.
First, there are speculations that the iPhone 7 will be called an iPhone 6S instead. However, there are also rumors that Apple is considering the option to drop the "S" naming convention as it has only been perceived negatively. Rhe next iPhone could also be called the iPhone Air, seeing as how Apple is managing to make an "Air" version of the Macbook and the iPad.
As for a release, if Apple follows its yearly product cycles, the iPhone 7 will come out on September 2015. There are speculations however that the Cupertino company might consider a bi-annual release instead of the usual yearly release.
Spec details are widely speculations at this point but Apple can only go a step further from the iPhone 6. The iPhone 7 will at least get a 4.7-inch screen like the smaller iPhone 6. They could go for two size variants like what they did with the iPhone 6.
Hardware is a bit more difficult to guess but 64-bit chipsets would be most likely, and there are rumors that the iPhone 7 will get inductive charging capabilities, a more powerful camera, and an A9 processor. The device will still probably get the same aluminum uni-body design as the two previous iPhone generations have.
