'iZombie' Season 2 Episode 3 Spoilers: Peyton Returns to Seattle in 'Real Dead Housewife of Seattle'

Fans of 'iZombie' have missed Liv Moore's (Rose McIver) original roommate and bestfriend, Peyton (Aly Michalka), in the last two episodes of the shows' second season.

Last season, Peyton learned that Liv is a zombie, which caused a rift between the two friends, making Liv to look for another roommate at the beginning of season 2. According to International Business Times, Peyton will now officially back.

The website said that executive producer, Rob Thomas, confirmed that Peyton will be back to resume her work. Peyton was working at the district attorney's office as the assistant DA, and will now be working with the Utopium task force. Thomas said that being in the task force will make her "right in the thick of the action."

Rob Thomas was interviewed by a number of press, and the Collider reported that the Thomas will get Peyton and Ravi (Rahul Kohli) face each other again. However, the executive producer said, "We made the decision that when Peyton comes back, they won't fall into a relationship because they're both going in different directions."

Fans were saddened to learned about this new development, but Thomas still assured fans that the two's meeting in the upcoming episode is "just so good," and that the producer is thinking twice about their earlier decision about Peyton and Ravi. "The first scene we shot with the two of them together, was one of my favorite things that we shot in Scene 2," he added.

TV Guide posted a synopsis of episode 3, which is entitled "Real Dead Housewife of Seattle," and the summary reads, "Liv eats the brains of a recently murdered trophy wife who was pushed to her death by a hit man from her home's balcony. A now fashion-obsessed Liv and Det. Babineaux question suspects in their search for the original brains behind the homicide. Meanwhile, Liv and Ravi are surprised to learn that Peyton has returned to Seattle."
