Jaguar F-Pace 2017 Unveiled at Frankfurt Motor Show
The 2017 Jaguar F-Pace midsize crossover SUV has been unveiled during the Frankfurt Motor Show, revealing the new car's points of strength and power.
Because the crossover SUV is a hot topic in the car industry nowadays, Jaguar finally revealed its 2017 Jaguar F-Pace during the recent Frankfurt Motor Show. The new vehicle is a combination of exquisite style and supercharged engines, according to St. Louis Post – Dispatch.
In terms of style, the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace still features metal-bending with its trademark face, taillights, and low roofline. Once launched, the car will have three supercharged gasoline engine variants: the 340-hp, 380-hp, and the V-6, the report details.
Jaguar will also launch its "Ingenium" diesel, which is set to replace the 2-liter turbocharged engine and will deliver a maximum horsepower rating of 180 and 318 lb.-ft. of torque. All the engine variants of the 2017 F-Pace will come with eight-speed automatic transmission, the report relays.
One of the changes incorporated into the new F-Pace is the improved noise level handling, which resulted in a quieter car compared to earlier stages of its development. Jaguar specifically engineered the car to strike the perfect balance between low volume and high power, the Master Herald reports.
The 2017 Jaguar F-Pace comes with an aluminum-intensive body and chassis with Adaptive Surface Response. This feature detects the terrain and adjusts the car's throttle, transmission, and stability control. Other features included in the car's structure are torque vectoring for discreet braking of inside wheels, and Adaptive Dynamics for adjustment of suspension response based on the driving situation.
As for the interior of the 2017 Jaguar F-Pace, fans can expect it to be luxurious and equipped with safety and connectivity features. The windshield is capable of projecting images, but this time, with the use of lasers instead of the previous LCD screen technology.
The 2017 Jaguar F-Pace's price is still unconfirmed, but the company is expected to release more details by the time the car is launched next spring.
