'Jane the Virgin' Season 4 Spoilers: Adam Brings Out Jane's Fun Side in Episode 2
Jane (Gina Rodriguez) brings out her inner party girl on the upcoming episode of "Jane the Virgin" season 4.
Titled "Chapter Sixty-Six," this week's episode will see Adam (guest star Tyler Posey) unleash Jane's fun side and remind her that she is not just a typical mom. Adam receives a job opportunity, so he asks Jane if he should stay or leave. Petra (Yael Grobglas) and Rafael (Justin Baldoni) team up to buy back the hotel, but they will encounter a major problem that causes a strain in their relationship.
Meanwhile, things get worse for Rogelio (Jaime Camil) as he faces issues with a co-star. Determined to prove Rogelio is committed to being a father to her baby, Xo (Andrea Navedo) decides to help take care of Darci (guest star Justina Machado).
The promo opens with Jane enjoying her time while playing beer pong with her friends. While everyone loves Jane's fun side, it seems that she is also trying to hold herself back. The next scene cuts to Adam asking a blonde-haired "fun Jane" about what she wants do to next. "Mom Jane" appears and tells Jane that she should figure out if her relationship with Adam is serious or not.
Fans already know that things have been rough for Rafael since his sister stole everything he has. Jane had to make budget cuts, including Mateo's (Joseph Sanders) karate class, because of her baby daddy's current financial status.
Speaking with Deadline, executive producer Jennie Snyder Urman said Jane and Rafael's money problems will continue throughout the season.
"Money problems continue to complicate Jane/Mateo/Raf's life and that is one of the major changes this season," she revealed. "Jane has become used to the privilege that Rafael's money provided; she got used to the cushion — especially with regards to child-rearing."
The EP added, "Rafael does ultimately get a job (and a surprising one at that), but not before making every effort to get his fortune back from his sister."
The fourth season of "Jane the Virgin" airs every Friday night at 9 p.m. EDT on The CW.
