Janet Jackson Shows Off 70-Pound Weight Loss During L.A. Concert

Janet Jackson kicked off her sold-out concert this weekend by flaunting her fabulous post-baby bod.

Jackson, 51, showed off her slimmer figure when she performed at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday. Reports note that the singer has already lost 70 pounds since she gave birth to her first child, Eissa, in January. Jackson appeared svelte in an all-black ensemble during one number.

The musician has been working with personal trainer Paulette Sybliss for several months now to prepare for her tour. She recently caught up with PEOPLE and she mentioned that Jackson's main goal after giving birth was to become stage-ready.

To help Jackson achieve the killer body she wants, Sybliss said the brunette songstress would often train with her for at least four days each week for almost an hour. Instead of focusing on cardio, however, Sybliss opted to focus their exercises on weight training and not cardio.

"People are quite surprised, but we did no conventional cardio the entire time we worked out together," she stated. "It was weight training ... You may burn some calories when you step on a treadmill, but the minute you stop your body stops; you're not burning any more. So my goal was, every time she's not with me, I need her body to be working."

Less than 48 hours after her concert in L.A., Jackson was spotted strolling around Disneyland California with 10-month-old Eissa. She was accompanied by her security detail, alongside fellow singer Ciara and her baby boy Future Jr.

Jackson shows no sign of being tired, as she opted to carry her son while navigating the theme park. She showcased her slender frame once again by sporting an all-black ensemble.

The "Rhythm Nation" singer shares Eissa with her former husband, Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana. They tied the knot in 2013 but decided to call it quits earlier this year.
