Jennifer Garner News: Actress Ventures into Kids' Nutrition Business
Jennifer Garner has joined as a co-founder of a company that aims at providing not only nutritious but delicious food for kids.
Garner, who shares three kids with soon-to-be ex-husband Ben Affleck, has recently revealed that she is now a part of Once Upon a Farm, a company that currently offers a line of cold-pressed organic baby food and applesauce. According to the actress, prior to her joining the company, she had already been in search for a food brand she would partner with as she understands the importance and struggles of serving fresh food to young kids. Apparently, after a long search, it was Once Upon a Farm that got Garner's nod.
"As a mom with three kids, I have three lunch boxes to pack each day and understand the problems that must be solved with serving fresh food to young children. My mother made every single meal for me, and I have always been a big believer in staying connected to the earth, which grows our food," Garner said in an interview.
The actress, who is also an artist ambassador for Save the Children, believes that it is important that it is important to ensure that today's generation will leave a healthier and happier planet as a legacy. While Once Upon a Farm's products are currently limited to cold-pressed organic baby food and applesauce, the company has recently announced that it is expanding into new categories as it aims to provide the "best-tasting, most nutritious and highest quality foods, using sustainable methods" to as many children as much as possible. With this, there is no denying that Garner has already made one step forward to achieve her mission of leaving a healthier and happier place for the future generation.
Garner's passion for her new endeavor is so apparent that she plans to be very involved in it. According to the "Miracles from Heaven" star, who is a mother to Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel, she will devote as much time to Once Upon a Farm, just like what she did when she was just starting as an ambassador for Save the Children.
"More specifically, I will be a part of innovating on new products, participating in design, going on sales calls and making sure the world knows we exist," she shared.
